Erino.me is currently in early access. We've written this policy to plainly describe what we actually do today, and we'll update it as the product changes. Questions? Reach us at hello@erino.me.
Erino.me is a product built by Erinome, for independent contractors to track contracts, invoices, and expenses. This policy covers the erino.me web application (the "Service") — it doesn't cover third-party sites we link to.
Account information you give us when you're invited and sign up: username, email address, and optionally a full name. Your password is never stored in plain text — we store a salted hash.
The business data you enter to use the Service: client records, invoices, expenses, and contracts — including the content of any contract PDFs or receipt images you upload. This is your data; we store it to display it back to you and to power features like contract date extraction and recurring invoice generation.
Basic usage information: login timestamps and a session cookie that keeps you signed in. This cookie is strictly functional — it's not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and it's the only tracking mechanism anywhere in the actual app (once you're logged in and using your account, nothing you do there is sent to Google or any other analytics provider).
Marketing-site analytics: the public pages you're reading right now (home, product, pricing, this page, etc. — not the logged-in app) use Google Analytics to understand traffic and how visitors find us: pages viewed, general device/browser/location info, and referral source. We haven't enabled Google's ad-personalization features (Google Signals), so this data isn't used to build advertising profiles by us or, per Google's own settings, by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for how they handle it.
To run the Service: storing and displaying your data, generating invoice and contract PDFs, and sending transactional emails on your behalf or on ours — invoices to your clients, password resets, and account invites. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train any AI model.
When you upload a contract PDF, Erino.me tries to automatically detect key dates (signed, end, renewal, notice, rate review) using local pattern-matching and, for scanned documents, local OCR — all of it runs on our own servers. Your contract text is never sent to an external AI service for this. Extracted dates are best-effort suggestions; you should always review them against the actual document.
We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (invoices, invites, password resets), and Google Analytics for the marketing-site traffic data described above. Those are the only two third parties that process any data on our behalf today, and Google Analytics never sees anything from inside the actual app — only the public marketing pages. We don't share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
While your account is active, we keep your data for as long as you're using the Service. If an account is deactivated, our retention policy is:
You can request deletion sooner at any time by emailing hello@erino.me.
We use industry-standard practices — hashed passwords, HTTPS, and access controls that restrict your data to your own account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
The Service is intended for business use by adults and isn't directed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
As Erino.me grows out of early access, this policy will evolve. We'll update the date at the top when it does, and let you know about material changes.
Questions about this policy or your data: hello@erino.me.
